The film
Every space exploration vehicle, without exception, passes through an ultra-secure, totally sterile, and perfectly airtight laboratory to be disinfected and sterilized before departure. Since the 1960s, humanity has been trying to discover extraterrestrial life with a fear that never leaves… What if this life we hope to find hundreds of millions of miles away was not extraterrestrial? What if the dozens of missions sent by man had carried terrestrial bacteria capable of surviving the journey? Have we already contaminated Mars, Saturn, and Jupiter with surprisingly resilient bacteria that could colonize these planets? As time passes, the answer seems increasingly obvious…
Earth Attacks!, a 52′ documentary to be discovered as a preview during the Pariscience festival.
