The film
Infamously nicknamed the “Doctor of Death,” Aribert Heim was one of the most brutal torturers at the Mauthausen camp in Austria. Less known than Dr. Josef Mengele, he was among the physicians who, with total impunity, turned prisoners into guinea pigs for medical experimentation. Despite a brief imprisonment, he secured a position in Baden-Baden after the war. In the 1960s, sensing the tide was turning, he vanished overnight… to Egypt.
