Label News is an independent production company and news agency founded by François Pomès in 2013. It produces documentaries for French and international channels, focusing on science, discovery, history, and investigative reporting. With over 120 hours produced since 2017, it is also one of the leading producers of documentaries on ancient Egypt.

Its long-form investigations have led to the digitization of the interior and exterior of all the pyramids in Egypt, data that was subsequently used by Harvard University as part of the Giza Project. The agency also identified Marilyn Monroe’s biological father through DNA testing, revealed the links between the avocado industry and Mexican cartels, and followed the Russian-European ExoMars space mission for National Geographic over several years, until the outbreak of the war in Ukraine.

Among its latest productions: Thônis-Héracléion: The Sunken City of the Pharaohs for France 5 (Science grand format), Khufu and the Treasures of the Pharaohs for M6 (special broadcast), Treasures of Egypt for Novo19 (series), The Power of the Oceans for Novo19 (series), The Apollo Adventure: Objective Moon and ExoMars: The Impossible Mission for National Geographic, Cleopatra’s Sunken Temple for PBS and RMC Découverte, Bruce Willis: Secrets of an Icon for M6, and the series Cleopatra for C8, Planète+, and MyCanal.
